Able Pools and Spas, a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina, traces its roots back to 1995 when Frank and Ruth Kearney founded the family business. In 2016, the torch was passed to Sam and Caroline Manoogian, along with their children, who harbored a long-standing desire to relocate from Raleigh to Wilmington. With Sam’s extensive background in construction management and quality assurance for large-scale projects, the transition was seamless, allowing Able to maintain its unwavering commitment to top-notch construction and customer satisfaction.

Since 2016, ABLE Pools and Spas has proudly erected over 250 Fiberglass pools, predominantly across New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties, extending its reach from Calabash in the south to North Topsail Beach and Sneads Ferry in the north, and various locales in between.

In the autumn of 2000, we were honored to secure an exclusive dealership with San Juan Fiberglass Pools of Lakeland, Florida, renowned as the industry leader in fiberglass pool manufacturing. Since our inaugural year with San Juan Pools, we have consistently been recognized as a “Dealer of Excellence,” a testament to our steadfast dedication to superior craftsmanship and post-project customer care. San Juan has been at the forefront of fiberglass pool innovation since 1958, with their inaugural pool still in use in Seattle, Washington, over five decades later.
